Welcome to Indiana State University!

I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of President of Indiana State University. I am honored to join the university, and excited about the opportunities in front of us.

Indiana State University is committed to embracing innovation and new ideas as catalysts for student success. Whether through cutting-edge research, study abroad experiences, or support for start-up ventures, we give students the tools they need to succeed as they face the challenges and opportunities ahead.

As we look toward the future, let’s not forget our roots. Terre Haute and Indiana State University have a rich history and heritage, and I’m deeply committed to preserving and strengthening that relationship. As Sycamores, it’s our collective responsibility to honor and fortify this partnership through collaborative initiatives, community outreach, and mutual support. Together, we will ensure Terre Haute, and the Wabash Valley continue flourishing.

Academic excellence is at the core of what we do. Indiana State University is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of education across all disciplines and programs. I’ve been so impressed by the academic rigor, intellectual curiosity, and lifelong learning that permeates our campus. Let’s show everyone what Indiana State University is made of and lead the way in education, not just in Indiana but across the Midwest.
